Product description
An infinitely adjustable ear clamp is used in areas where space is limited. A standard clamp is closed on two sides but this type of progressive clamp is closed on one side. With the progressive clamp, a clamping system is triggered during tightening that grips the part.
This size clamp was only used to clamp the steering rack boot on the VW Beetle 1303 from the 1975 model year on. Keep in mind that the left clamp has a different reach than the right side of the steering rack boot.
A clamp of this type cannot be reused; once tightened, it cannot be loosened and must always be replaced.
