Product description
The Volkswagen Vanagon 4-wheel drive that, under the name Syncro, makes the hearts of many VW Bus enthusiasts beat faster, is different from the standard VW Bus in many ways.
The Syncro model had to be adapted to off-roading, which meant making it more reliable through sometimes large, sometimes very small details. The steering rack is similar to that of the standard VW Bus, but the dust covers or boots are additionally fixed with clamps, which was not the case on the 2WD VW Bus.
It is recommended to use these clamps also on a 2WD VW Bus. No matter what situation you find yourself in, at least your steering rack boots will not come loose.
The outer and inner clamps are different sizes. On the exploded view drawing, these clamps are found under the numbers 11A and 11B.
