When the sliding door needs to be restored, there are two repair parts for the underside, an inner part and an outer part. Depending on the model of your Volkswagen Bus, you can choose between several different heights for the outer part.
Always choose the minimum height you need to preserve the original as much as possible and make sure you do not overheat during the welding process. If you hear a "plop" noise during welding, you have added too much heat and you will have to start removing the dents, so try to avoid this.
