The VW-specific bolts listed here are designed for mounting the shock absorber and stabilizer at the rear of a Volkswagen Type 3.
You may wonder why these bolts were specifically developed by Volkswagen, since at first glance they seem fairly universal. The distinction lies in their unique characteristics: they have a hardness of 10.9, a smaller key size than a standard M12 bolt and a different length of shank of length of the smooth part, essential for their specific function.
These reproduced bolts are fully compliant with Volkswagen specifications. It is important to use only mounting parts that meet these specifications. Do not use parts that merely resemble the original ones, as this may present risks and compromise safety.
