Product description
These bolts were used on Volkswagens until 1962, specifically for mounting the front shock absorbers on the upper part. If it appears that the bolts are rusted, it is advisable to replace them. A rusted bolt loses its strength and you don't want it to break halfway through a sharp turn.
Don't bother finding these bolts on the hardware store shelf, they are not standard size and hardness bolts.
