Product description
The shift rod guide is located in the chassis tunnel, directly below the shift lever. Replacement is often necessary when the shift rod guide is bent or rusted.
This piece of sheet metal also contains the shift lever fixing nuts. If these nuts have turned or broken, replacement is the only option. After all, there's no other way to secure the shifter than with welded nuts.
Order the shift rod guide sleeve and lock washer immediately, which you'll find under the "Options" tab. You'll probably need these parts too.
