At the gutter, several pieces of sheet metal come together and once moisture has penetrated between these pieces, it becomes a breeding ground for rust.
Once the rust reaches the surface, you will see that the small spot in the gutter has had a major impact on the sheet metal underneath.
With the gutter part mentioned here, the original rusted part is replaced. For the Volkswagen Split, Bus this is a complete replacement part. For the Volkswagen Bay Window Bus, you have the choice between two repair parts: the detached gutter and, if the rust damage persists, a part with an embedded roof. For the Volkswagen Vanagon, this is the gutter with a roof edge.
