Product description
For the Bay Window Buses meant for passenger transport, from 1978 onwards, instead of pivoting windows, you could also opt for sliding windows. In warmer areas where these Buses were often used as taxis, it was an option often chosen as an additional cooling service for passengers. In our climate, it was an option that was mainly used in the most luxurious Combi cars.
It is a matter of dismantling your existing window with rubber and replacing it with the sliding window mentioned here. These sliding windows are supplied with a black aluminium frame delivered without rubber, always order the rubbers separately (see options tab).
Suitable for all Bay Window Buses from 1968 onwards, but only if you have a Bus originally equipped with windows, so no Bus with later installed windows.
Note: For safety reasons, it is not recommended to replace the rear side window on the side of the sliding door with a sliding window.
