Product description
If your Volkswagen Bus is equipped for passenger transport, the floor is fitted with welded brackets for mounting the rear seats. The bolts securing the bench seats are clamped in these brackets. The system is designed so that the bench seats can be quickly removed to create a larger loading area.
The brackets are often deformed, so this is not a solid original mounting method. If you want to restore the original condition, grind down the old supports and weld the new ones to the floor.
If originality isn't your priority, you can consider attaching the seats in a much more solid manner using the rear seat mounting plates (listed in the "alternatives" tab).
