Product description
The jacking point is welded to the chassis beam by means of a support beam at the rear, so a solid assembly is created where you can easily place a jack underneath to lift your Volkswagen Bus to the required height.
With the VW Bus, the lifting point is a separate part of the rear beam, with the VW Bay Window, this is also the case at first sight, but Volkswagen has never delivered the lifting point as a separate part. Originally, these parts were welded together and delivered as a complete unit. In our reproductions, these parts are available separately so that it is possible to replace only the jack support or the support beam.
In the case of a Split Bus until 1959 and the Bay Window Bus from 1968 to 1975, additional support beams were installed without external parts with a lifting point, these are the rearmost beams, located behind the rear lifting point and used to provide additional support for the lower plates, which all have a secondary function. Also click on the "options" tab to order the jack holder (if applicable).
