Product description
If your Volkswagen Bus is equipped with power steering, an engine-driven pump pumps pressurised oil to the steering system. As you turn the steering wheel, a valve in the steering gear regulates the amount of oil sent to the pump cylinders.
If the pump can no longer build up pressure, which often results in oil loss, you will need to replace the pump. When ordering, remember to order the correct oil. It is also a good idea to replace the V-belt. Also check the hoses for cracks, if there are any, you will also need to replace them.
You will have to transfer the pulley, it is not delivered with the pump.
