Product description
As an option, the VW dealer could install retractable side windows instead of the fixed rear side windows. By pulling a lever, the rear side windows could now be opened a few centimeters. This option was particularly popular in warmer regions.
The pop-out window is sealed against a finishing lip on the body with a rubber at the pop-out lip to ensure the sealing and soundproofing of the pop-out against the body.
Note: These are high-quality one-piece rubbers with preformed corners. Rubbers that are not preformed do not provide a good seal at the corners, resulting in poor closure of the pop-out window. With the preformed rubbers listed here, the pop-out window closes properly, tightly and silently.
