If your Split Bus is not equipped with factory pop-out side windows and you want to install them later, your Bus is not prepared for this. The place where the lock is fixed to the bodywork must be screwed in, an inconsiderate mounting with a parker screw is of course not a good solution. The plate shown here is the same as the one that Volkswagen would weld into the body when installing pop-out windows, so it is the only correct way to mount your lock in an original and correct way.
