Product description
A quick and convenient method of mounting a temperature transmitter is where the oil pressure switch is mounted. Remove the oil pressure switch, place adapter #2600 in the crankcase, now place the oil pressure switch and transmitter in the adapter.
Note : this measurement location is not as accurate as at the bottom of the crankcase cover, so keep in mind a deviation from the actual temperature.
The separate oil temperature transducer is intended for VDO instruments, but may also serve for other brands. Check whether your instrument indicates the correct temperature by measuring boiling water, if the gauge indicates 100ºC then the combination of gauge and sensor is perfect.
Usable for both 6 and 12 Volts.
