Product description
These raised center (nipple) hubcaps are very much in the style of the Porsche 356 and were not only used by Porsche but also, until 1947, on the Volkswagen Beetle. Exclusivity comes first with the enamelled Wolfsburg emblem, creating a unique hubcap.
To remove a hubcap, you can use a screwdriver, but this will damage the paintwork on the rim. If you still have an original tool kit, it contains a special hubcap remover (hubcap puller) that can be used to remove the hubcap from the rim without damaging the rim. The wheel cover has two holes where the wheel extractor is placed, and wheel covers with raised centre also have this facility. Order this wheel puller, or a variant, at extra cost. Without this tool, the rim will be irreversibly damaged.
