Product description
If you own a Volkswagen Beetle between the years 1956 and 1966, you have the possibility to use a set of mats that is made of a looped textile just like the original (mentioned on the "related parts" tab).
The tunnel is not covered by these sets of mats, the rubber floor mat covers the tunnel. You can also order the tunnel carpet mentioned here, which will allow you to equip your tunnel with a luxury loop pile covering. Originally, it was also used in the more luxurious versions.
The holes for the handbrake and gear change are sewn with vinyl of the same colour as the carpet, as well as the foot protection part next to the accelerator pedal. If your VW Beetle has an opening for heating, then the cut-out is finished with a stainless steel ring and the outer edges are lined with cotton
The mat must be glued, use spray glue, this is mentioned in the options tab.
You continue to use the original rubber mats on the floor, you cut off the part of the tunnel so that the rubber mat is only present on the floor.
