Product description
Over the years, the Volkswagen Beetle's fenders have been regularly modified. If you want to keep your Volkswagen Beetle in its original condition, stick to the indicated model years. But if you want something different, the mudguards are interchangeable:
Front mudguards 1302 and 1303 are interchangeable, the difference being in the bumper support and blinker holes.
Front mudguards 1200, 1300 and 1500 are also interchangeable, the difference being in the bumper support, blinker holes and horn grille, as well as the type of headlight. So you can fit a 1970s Beetle with 1960s fenders, recessed headlights and round bumpers.
All rear fenders are interchangeable on all Beetles. So you can change models if necessary.
Quality A and B
Some wings are available in two qualities, the main difference being the thickness of the sheet metal and the fit. Quality B is a reproduction and quality A is an original Volkswagen, so no further explanation is necessary
Note: all steel fenders are delivered in warehouse transport paint, which may show scratches and small dents. Bear in mind that painted fenders cannot be returned for any reason, adjust first and then paint, that's the way to proceed.
Over the years, the Volkswagen Beetle's fenders have been modified several times. If you want to keep your Beetle in perfect original condition, it's a good idea to stick to the indicated model years. Nevertheless, the fenders are interchangeable, allowing you to opt for a different look.
For example, the front fenders on models 1302 and 1303 are interchangeable, the difference being in the bumper support and blinker holes.
On models 1200, 1300 and 1500, the front fenders are also interchangeable, but differ in terms of bumper support, blinker and horn holes, and headlight type. It is thus possible, for example, to fit a 1970s Beetle with 1960s fenders, recessed headlights and round bumpers.
All rear fenders are even interchangeable on all Beetles, so you can easily convert your car to another model.
Some fenders are available in A and B quality. The difference lies mainly in the thickness of the fender. The difference lies mainly in the thickness of the sheet metal, the pressing and the final fit. Quality B is a reproduction, like most of the total range, while quality A is an original Volkswagen fender.
Note: all steel fenders are delivered in warehouse transport paint. Slight scratches and dents may appear. Please note that painted mudguards cannot be returned for any reason. Therefore, the following rule always applies: assembly first, then paint.
