Product description
The sills consist of an inner and an outer part. On the Volkswagen Bay Window Buses there is an additional reinforcement piece on the side where there is no sliding door. The exterior part has often already been refurbished by a previous owner and the interior part, which is not visible from the outside, is usually only replaced during a complete restoration or when it is a point of rejection for inspection.
For VW Buses from 8/1967 onwards, this sill is also available as a cover plate (see alternative tabs), so that it is only intended for repair and not for restoration.
The interior sills of Volkswagen Buses until 3.1955 and of pick-ups until 7.1967 are the same on the left and right, but they are different in the following years.
