Product description
The original glove box is made from pressed cardboard. This is not the most durable solution, and over time the material can lose a considerable amount of its strength.
On versions where the front bonnet release is also attached to the glove box, this can even cause problems. If the cardboard tears and the release lever comes loose, the front bonnet may no longer be possible to open in the normal way.
If you prefer to move away from the original cardboard glove box, or if your existing one is due for replacement anyway, this plastic version is a very good alternative. The material is stronger, more resistant to ageing and less susceptible to deformation or tearing.
