Product description
The fuse box doesn't have an eternal lifespan either, and corroded contacts can lead to electrical failure.
You can ensure that the wiring contacts are not corroded, but if the terminals to which the fuses are attached are too corroded, they lose their clamping capacity.
If this happens, you'll be faced with serious malfunctions, which could even lead to a fire.
Note: Fuse boxes with lids secured by a central locking bolt have no connecting bridges at the bottom. You can make them yourself, using a copper strip as originally intended, or simply a wire jumper.
