If your tank cap is still in fine condition, but only the seal has deteriorated, loose seals are available for a number of tank caps. These seals are the same size as the original. The choice of material has also remained the same as far as possible, namely cork or composite paper (asbestos replacement). There have been several manufacturers producing tank caps over the years, which is why you may come across various models for each period, all of which are suitable for the specified year of manufacture (but may differ in details, including the size of the seal). So when choosing a seal, it is important to check against the specified dimensions to see if the seal will fit your fuel cap. The first dimension is the inner diameter and the second dimension is the outer diameter of the seal.

If your year of manufacture is not listed or the dimensions do not match, there is no other option than to purchase a completely new cap. If a seal is the same as the complete filler cap we supplied, its order number is also listed.
