Product description
The engine compartment can be completely polished stainless steel with this firewall.
These firewalls attach over the original engine compartment insulation panels (see Options tab) and are also 3-piece.
The firewalls are available with custom louvers #2301 or (for the Cal-look Beetle) completely smooth #2305
Installation is only possible when the engine is disassembled and the plates are clamped along with the clamps for the original insulation plates. As an extra, use a few screws in places where it is not noticeable.
Some adjustments will have to be made here and there to make the firewall in your engine compartment fit properly and for the wiring to run neatly along the front, adjusting the firewall can be done easily with tin shears.
