If you have a spaghetti exhaust system with a larger than standard pipe diameter, the exhaust gaskets must be adapted to it. With the use of standard seals, the flow rate is reduced and the advantage of a larger pipe diameter is lost.
Paper gaskets have a larger sealing surface than the standard, which allows the inner diameter to be increased even further, which is often the case with user-designed exhaust systems.
It is important that the exhaust flange fits perfectly to the cylinder head, an inclined exhaust flange allows the passage of gases, which will directly cause the combustion of the gasket.
For the fixed tube diameters of 38 and 41 mm, copper models are available, these high quality gaskets guarantee a permanent gastight connection under all circumstances, you cannot change anything as is the case with the paper gasket.
The joints between the spaghetti and the muffler or muffler combination are always made of paper, you can adjust the inner diameter if necessary.
Note: The tube diameter refers to the outer dimension of the tube corresponding to the inner dimension of the gasket.
