This electric fuel pump is usually required when several carburetors are mounted in tuned engines, the fuel pump has a higher flow rate than the mechanical pump and does not depend on the engine speed.

The fuel pump rotates freely when the carburetor is sufficiently filled, so a return hose is not necessary.

The hole of the original mechanical pump in the motor crankcase must be sealed with a cover plate (see Options tab).

This rotary electric fuel pump comes with a mounting bracket and two clamps.

As this fuel pump does not suck but presses, it is advisable to place the pump lower than the fuel tank.

This petrol pump is only suitable for 12 volt carburetor engines, has 8 mm petrol hose connections and has a flow rate of 90 liters per hour at a pressure of 0.27 to 0.38 bar.

It is strongly recommended to install the Safety Relay (see Options tab) so that the fuel pump stops as soon as the engine stops.

This is a high quality pump, if you are looking for a cheaper alternative, you can also choose the quality B version (see alternatives tab).

Note: Many mount an electric fuel pump in the engine compartment and often mounted to the engine, a logical choice but not the most secure place. It is better to keep it out of the engine compartment and to house it elsewhere. The mounting will then take place on the chassis or the body with the disadvantage that vibrations are passed on, this will be felt and heard in the cabin. By mounting the fuel pump with vibration dampers, you get rid of these for good. It is therefore advisable to order these directly, they are listed on the tab "options".

Note: For the life and reliability of the fuel pump, it is important to install a fuel filter in front of the pump. Warranty is excluded if it is found that the pump has seized due to contamination.
