Product description
Early Volkswagen Beetle models featured a double dashboard: one for the speedometer and indicator lights, the other for the clock. In the most luxurious versions, including the cabriolet, these instrument panels were covered with aluminum trim.
When disassembled, the mounting brackets had to be bent and folded back during assembly. Due to metal fatigue, these tabs often broke, making careful assembly impossible.
This new aluminum trim comes with all four tabs intact, exactly as the original, making it ready for the next 50 years.
