Product description
After the model change from the first generation Bus (Split Bus) to the second generation (Bay Window), the dashboard is equipped with a rubber protection (flexible rubber edge). The Bus was not the only Volkswagen with which the dashboard received a modern look with rubber elements, the Karmann Ghia and the most luxurious Beetles for export were also equipped with it.
The Combi does not have the complete dashboard covered like the Beetle, but only the top front. This flexible rubber edge is vulcanized, to resist impact, around a metal frame, the metal frame serves as a mounting part on the metal dashboard.
Only for left-hand drive Volkswagen Buses.
