Product description
This sleeve or boot is located where the clutch and/or gas pedal cables are routed through the chassis. It seals the cables to the chassis.
Until 1970, on VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia and VW Thing, this was one rubber seal, later replaced by two separate rubber seals.
When the rubber starts to show dry cracks, it's time to replace it, as it's not designed to let moisture penetrate.
