Product description
If your engine has been fitted with a long-stroke crankshaft, if your compression ratio has been modified or if the cylinders have been machined, the original pushrods may no longer be usable in terms of length.
The solution to this problem lies in so-called "blank end" pushrods, made from chrome molybdenum, which make them stronger than the original rods.
Cutting to length is a simple but precise job. Use a tube cutter and the special cut-to-length tool (see "Options" tab). Make sure that you push the cups in perfectly straight, because if you push them in crookedly, you'll damage the pushrod, which will sooner or later cause the cup to come loose, resulting in damage to the motor.
This set is the perfect solution for every possible engine, as the heads can handle any form of engine adjustment, whether your cylinder heads are fitted with double valve springs, 1:25 or 1:40 rocker arms where adjustment is carried out on the tappet, or custom tappets. These Heavy Duty pushrods are a favorite of all professional engine builders who don't want to leave anything to chance.
Note: Never repair bent pushrods, as they will become bent again in the foreseeable future.
