Product description
For VW Beetles up to 1964, the guide rail that separates the lift-up window from the vent window is available in the same chrome-plated version as the original. In most cases, rust is the cause, making replacement necessary.
For the Bay Window Bus, vent window frames are available for the cab doors and passenger compartment. Cabin frames are suitable for the middle and rear side windows and feature movable vent windows. Cabin door frames, on the other hand, are designed exclusively for fixed (non-opening) windows. These frames are made of aluminum, not steel. Thanks to high-quality design, both guides and frames exceed the quality of the original and thus represent an improvement on what Volkswagen was producing at the time.
For the VW Vanagon, this is a rail/guide suitable only for fixed windows. This version is not chrome-plated. Those who wish to keep the gray color need do nothing, but it is of course possible to repaint in the body color. Complete frames are available for the more luxurious Vanagon versions, which are equipped with vent windows. These, too, are made of aluminum and fitted with metal mountings for the windows.
