If you want to mount an older model bumper (half round) on a younger model Volkswagen Beetle, you will come to the conclusion that the bumper brackets will not fit.
With these bumper brackets, you can mount an older model (half round) bumper on a VW Beetle that is factory equipped with a newer model (square) bumper.
The bumper brackets are only intended for Volkswagen Beetles from August 1967 on which the old type of rear fenders are mounted (until July 1967).
