Product description
The T2 Split was equipped with a single-circuit braking system for almost its entire production period. This changed for the left-hand-drive models in the final production year, when Volkswagen switched to a dual-circuit braking system. This was considerably safer, as the other brake circuit would continue to function if one circuit failed.
This brake fluid reservoir is specifically intended for this version. It is supplied complete with a screw cap, cap seal and removable strainer.
Note: A properly functioning and leak-free brake fluid reservoir is essential for the safety of the braking system. Check it regularly for leaks and damage, and make sure the fluid level is correct.
