Product description
The rocker shaft carries not only the rocker arms, but also the support washers and spacers. The assembly is secured on both sides by a spring clip that fits into the designated groove in the rocker shaft. These clips are made from spring steel and gradually lose part of their spring tension over the years. In the worst case, they can break unexpectedly, with potentially serious consequences. To eliminate this risk, replace these clips as a preventive measure during an engine rebuild.
