Paruzzi’s History – From Kit Cars to a VW Parts Legacy

In the late 1980s, the VW Beetle became a sought-after restoration project. Long before it was a collector’s icon, Evert and Wim were already importing and selling Beetle parts in the Netherlands under the name Paruzzi Cars, initially focused on kit cars based on the VW chassis.

Although the kits weren’t big sellers, demand for parts quickly grew. Without realizing it, the two friends were laying the foundation for what would become one of Europe’s most trusted names in spare parts for the classic Volkswagen.

Today Paruzzi offers over 8,000 parts sourced globally or developed in-house, continuing the same mission: keeping Volkswagens alive, one project at a time.
