Product description
In a fuel-injected engine, the temperature in the intake manifold must not become too high. If it does, the fuel may evaporate before it is properly atomized and combusted.
To prevent this, special gaskets are installed between the intake manifold and the cylinder head. These gaskets contain a bakelite insulating layer that acts as a heat barrier, reducing heat transfer to the intake manifold.
