Product description
Classic Volkswagens of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s often lacked fuel gauges, and virtually no Volkswagen was equipped with a trip meter. As a result, drivers didn't know how many kilometers they'd driven, how much was left in a full tank, or when it was time for servicing.
To solve this practical problem, separate trip meters were popular at the time. Until the end of the 1980s, they were available in all car stores.
Paruzzi has reintroduced these iconic meters, just as they were available at the time. Four counters are available, each with its own function:
KM: to record kilometers traveled
TANKEN: to record kilometers traveled since the last refueling
ÖLWECHSEL: to schedule oil changes and maintenance
ABFAHRT: ideal for recording trips, starting points or intervals
Meters are available in black with chrome trim and printing, or in ivory with black printing, allowing you to combine them with the other buttons and instruments on your dashboard.
Each counter comes with a magnetic holder for easy attachment to metal surfaces. For plastic dashboards, a self-adhesive metal plate is included so you can attach the meter securely.
With these meters, you'll find not only a touch of nostalgia, but also practical convenience and control over your journeys, consumption and maintenance, just like in the glory days of the classic Volkswagen.
