The best-known accessory is the towbar, which was often ordered with the car at the time of purchase, but most cars left the showroom without this option.
The towball has a maximum load of 200 kg (S value) and a D value (derived from the maximum trailer weight) of 17.2 kN. So it's the towball and the towing vehicle that determine whether the load can be towed.
In the absence of a nameplate, the towbar is legally considered untested, and the trailer may not weigh more than 750 kg. In addition, the vehicle's maximum towing capacity must not be exceeded, and you may not drive a vehicle with a trailer if your driving license does not permit this.
