Product description
The fuel pressure regulator is an essential part of the fuel injection system. It ensures that fuel pressure in the injectors remains constant in relation to the intake manifold, regardless of engine load or speed. In this way, the injectors always receive the right amount of fuel for stable, reliable combustion.
The vacuum-operated regulator is inserted into the fuel lines of the injection system. Excess fuel is returned to the tank via the return line, so that system pressure is always maintained at the correct level. A faulty or worn regulator can lead to a mixture that is too rich or too lean, resulting in starting problems, increased fuel consumption and reduced performance.
