Product description
In the case of an air-cooled engine, it is important that the space under the engine is as tight as possible. If the exhaust heat is drawn into the engine compartment, it can cause overheating, causing significant damage to the engine.
The carburetor preheating pipes, which are connected to the exhaust, are partially closed by the manifold heat riser covers. To ensure the airtightness of the connection between the cylinder plate and the engine cover plate, these covers are located on the left and right.
To ensure that the heat from the preheating pipes is not released directly to the metal plates, they are insulated. In the motor cover plate and in these parts, insulating parts are slipped in. These insulating parts are absent on most cars or are in a state of decomposition. The installation of new insulation parts is the only good solution.
