Product description
On early Volkswagen Beetle models and most Split Bus models, the brake fluid reservoir is screwed directly onto the master cylinder. To prevent any leakage between the reservoir and the master cylinder, an aluminum sealing ring is used.
This ring is for single use only, as aluminum is a flexible material that deforms easily, eliminating any unevenness in the interfaces for a perfect seal. Once removed, the ring must be replaced.
