Product description
Coolant leakage problems are often due to porous pipes, but at Volkswagen, metal pipes also wear out with age. Rust is the main culprit here, which is common with our waterboxers.
The pipe mentioned here goes from the right cylinder head to the thermostat housing, it's a very sensitive part to corrosion, so don't be surprised to see that it needs to be replaced.
With this stainless steel hose, you will get rid of corrosion forever, you will never have to worry about it again, you will never have to replace it.
Note: The sealing ring used to seal the pipe in the thermostat housing is not a universal rubber O-ring but a specially designed sealing ring, it is recognizable by its yellow color. Order this and the gasket between the cylinder head and the flange of this pipe (shown in the Options tab).
