Product description
On the 1302 and 1303 Beetle and the T25 Bus, the steering rod is connected to the steering box or auxiliary steering box by an intermediate steering shaft. On the Beetle, this is equipped with fixed universal joints on both sides. On a T25 Bus equipped with power steering, the universal joints are a separate replaceable part. Over time, play can occur on these joints, resulting in excessive steering play. In that case you will have to replace the entire intermediate steering shaft on the Beetle, while on the T25 Bus only the universal joint will suffice.
As an extra description, the total length is given for the Beetle in case you want to use the intermediate steering shaft for another application. If applicable it is advisable to immediately order the dust covers with it, see options.
