Product description
It is advisable to remove the pressure gauge after setting the desired fuel pressure. The connection should then be sealed with a blind plug. This plug is supplied with the fuel pressure regulator and hose adapter, but is also available separately.
The thread is tapered, so there's no need to add sealant or tape. Tighten the cap slightly more than hand-tight, start the engine, check for leaks and tighten the cap a little more if necessary.
The thread size is also indicated in case you wish to use the cap for other purposes.
