Product description
In the 1950s, the right-hand sun visor was not a necessity for Volkswagens, only the most luxurious versions, including the convertible, were equipped with one as standard.
However, it was possible to equip the car with a right sun visor by installing an additional shaft under the foot of the interior mirror.
In the 1970s, the basic budget Beetle appeared, an economical and completely stripped-down Volkswagen in which even the right sun visor had to suffer. The unique sun visor of the 1950s returned, but in a much more modern way. An additional sun visor shaft is no longer necessary, a separate sun visor with a bracket is sufficient and the mounting holes are present under the headliner from the factory.
The sun visor shaft shown here is fully chromed, just like the original from the 1950s.
