If, over time, the rods of your cross-bar system need to be replaced, a failure of the ball joints is the most important reason, you do not need to buy a complete new system. Ball joint rods are also available as spare parts.
If you have a cross-bar system that you can't find the brand and you are missing the rods, this rod may also offer a solution. The length is mentioned as well as the thread of the ball joints.
