Product description
This spring steel clamp was used for two purposes. For mounting the glass channel bracket in the door at the top, and for mounting the cover panel under the steering column, the latter being used only on the Beetle 1303.
The glass channel support is mounted at the rear of the door and ensures that the windshield is forced to its final destination when the glass is lowered. The glass channel support is bolted into the door at the bottom and clamped at the top with the clamp shown here.
The steering column cover plate is clamped at the top with these clamps and secured at the bottom with two screws and spring washers (the latter are shown in the options tab, among others).
