Product description
An air filter element that never needs replacing, is fire-resistant and provides better airflow than a standard paper or cotton filter, that is exactly what this filter element offers.
Unlike cotton or paper air filters, this filter element is made from fine stainless steel mesh. This makes the filter fire-resistant and far more resistant to so-called “backfire”. With cotton and paper filters, a backfire can cause the filter to catch fire, potentially resulting in serious engine damage. With a stainless steel filter element, this risk is significantly reduced.
Thanks to its open structure, the filter offers a high airflow capacity, which benefits engine performance. The filtration is suitable for normal use, with the focus primarily on high airflow, durability and safety. This makes the filter element particularly suitable for sporty road use and applications where optimum airflow is desired.
In addition, the filter element is reusable and easy to clean, meaning replacement is generally no longer necessary.
For optimum performance, it is recommended to clean the filter at least every 5000 km. In dusty environments, more frequent cleaning will be necessary.
