In a total restoration, you certainly shouldn't skimp on the details that finish the car, so get rid of that cracked or damaged shifter knob.
These gear knobs are similar in model and color to the original and come with or without printed shift diagram.
Note: The thread size determines whether a particular gear knob will fit your car. The year of manufacture and VW models are listed throughout, but check the thread thickness to be sure.
Knob #540 is not threaded, to ensure a 100% clearance-free attachment, the M12 thread is automatically tapped into the plastic when you screw the knob onto the gearlever.
