The extreme lowering of your Volkswagen poses many challenges for which a solution must be found. If a fast engine is also attached to it, special attention must be paid to it. This requires a modified exhaust system that does not touch the ground, but also treats the engine's power well, so that a gain in power can also be achieved.
This extremely low exhaust has been specially designed for the Volkswagen Beetle and the Karmann Ghia. There is no other exhaust system with even greater ground clearance that suits both the original and performance engine.
The complete exhaust system is made of stainless steel, a one-time purchase you won't regret. If you are still in doubt, here are the advantages that no other exhaust system can offer:
- the flanges are adjustable on each side by 4 mm, suitable for all type 1 engines
- equipped with a sports silencer, suitable up to 125 hp
- 100% stainless steel AISI 30
- equipped with a fibreglass envelope around the exhaust pipes to protect them
- fits perfectly with original heaters
- the 50 mm exhaust pipes exit into the recesses in the rear panel
- without carburetor preheating, which is available as an additional option
Supplied complete with seals and mounting hardware. It is also necessary to connect the heating pipe directly to the heat exchanger, use only aluminium pipes (indicated on the options tab), the original paper pipe is not able to resist the heat of the exhaust pipes it passes through.
