The standard VW seat cannot be called a sports seat, it has little side support and most models don't even have a headrest. For use at higher speeds or for more difficult terrain, it is important to have a good seat and good safety. If you can't find a good reason, it's also a facelift for your interior.
For Buggys or other personal creations, you often have no choice but to mount a bucket seat, partly because of the small size of the car and the possibility of mounting the seat at a very low position. Mounting can be done on the frame of your old seat, it must be completely disassembled and the seat frame must be adjusted to the attachment points of the bucket seat. A quicker method is to buy a seat frame (see options tab), with which you can mount the seat up to a few centimetres from the floor, which is not possible with the original seat frame.
The "Poly High Back" was developed for Buggy and Baja drivers where the seats must be able to withstand rain and mud. The "High Back" is made entirely of durable black polyethylene with ventilation slots and belt holes.
You should not expect comfort, but with an extra chair cover that is available especially for this seat, the seat becomes much more comfortable, take the extra cover (see options tab).
