Product description
The fender is secured with large corrugated washers and high head bolts with a 13 mm wrench. The higher head is intended to ensure a better grip for the hard to reach places, some of which you will encounter when mounting the fender.
The fender holes are oversized to allow for corrections during assembly, this made it necessary to use large washers. These corrugated, spring steel washers have a double function, as a body ring and a retaining ring.
This mounting set contains all bolts and washers for mounting one fender, 100% identical to the original. To prevent corrosion we have not chosen for black oxide, as was originally the case (little to no rust protection), but for black galvanization. This keeps the bolts and washers black in color, as original, but it protects many times better against corrosion.
Note: These are very high quality mounting parts where the bolts have the right hardness. Do not be tempted by cheap alternatives with too high a hardness. This can lead to damage of the nuts in the body, to replace them you will have to grind and weld, you are probably not looking forward to that.
